Peyton Cope is a junior at Southeast Missouri State, where she majors in Psychology with two minors, one in Literature and one in Child Development. After school, she hopes to continue on to get her masters, and perhaps her doctorate in Educational Psychology. Along with her passion for developmental science, she has been dancing since the age of two. She has danced with the Conservatory of Theatre and Dance at SEMO, along with guesting with Willow Dance Studios. She received her training at the American Academy of Ballet, Burklyn Ballet Theatre and The Charleston Ballet. Some of her favorite performances include roles in the classical ballets La Bayadere, Diane and Aceton, and Giselle. She also dabbles with choreography, which has been showcased three times at Burklyn Ballet’s Young Choreographer’s Workshop. During her rare free time, she spends time with her dog Elliot, reading.
