Donna Wilson is an Associate Professor Emeritus of Dance in the Kinesiology Department at Southern Illinois University Carbondale where she taught ballet, modern, jazz, tap, choreography and other dance and movement classes. While at SIUC Ms. Wilson also directed the Southern Illinois Dance Company. Ms. Wilson received her BFA in dance from Stephens College in Columbia, MO, in 1972 under Harriette Ann Gray. She received her MFA in dance from the University of Oklahoma in 1975. She danced in Los Angeles from 1975 to1986 with Richard Oliver, Momentum, Margaret Schuette, Rudy Perez, and Martha Kalman. Ms. Wilson has her intermediate certificate in Labanotation, a method of recording movement in writing. She is excited to be a part of the Willow Street faculty.
